Recipe:
Mala spice mix:
1 Tbsp Sichuan peppercorn
1 Tbsp red chili flake
2 tsp fennel seeds
2 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp cumin seed
Toast seeds
Grind seeds to desired consistency using a mortar and pestle or spice grinder. (I like to keep mine a little more coarse)
