Recipe:

Serves 5 or more

Hibiscus sugar:

  • 50 grams granulated sugar

  • 35 grams dried hibiscus flowers

  • 2 grams kosher salt

  1. Combine in a blender. Spin on high until a powder like consistency.

  2. Store in air tight container

Zeppole: makes 15-20 pieces

  • 400 grams 00 durum flour

  • 3 grams instant yeast

  • 3 grams salt

  • 2 eggs
